1/5th scale Zlin 526 build

82in wing span built from Dick van Mourik plans.

First job is to copy the formers from the plan and transfer them to 1/8" lite ply.

Once the formers are ready they are pinned to the building board and stringers added.

With no straight lines the fuselage is built up side down.

With all the formers and stringers in place the fuz can be removed from the plan, this allows the top decking and cockpit inner sides to be added.

The next photo shows the fuz looking a little more like an aeroplane!...(with Cowl and canopy in place for the pic)

The tailplane,fin and rudder.
